DO YOU KNOW WHO MAKES YOUR CLOTHES? WHO MADE THEM? DO YOU KNOW WHAT MATERIALS THEY ARE MADE OF AND WHERE THEY COME FROM?

OF COURSE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT GLASSES!

LET’S DWELL ON THE SUBJECT OF PRICE: MAKING HANDMADE GLASSES IS NOT CHEAP

Making handmade glasses is not cheap.
It is not cheap if you use real natural wood as we use in Atelier Woo Class. It is not cheap if you make the product REALLY by hand.
📌
The material of which a Woo Class frame is made is a technically
advanced, consisting of at least 11 layers of natural wood that is bent traditionally by
hot using the #steambanding method.
When you ask us why our service costs more than large retail eyewear, the answer is simple and we explain it to you every time.
A Woo Class frame is truly handmade and made entirely from natural wood.
All the wood used comes from states with reforestation programs!
Only wood veneer of certain provenance and of the highest quality is used.
The decision to use only knife-worked veneer at the place of origin
guarantees its genuineness, traceability and also the maintenance of economic resources in that given country, without exploitation.
📌
We use glues that correspond to EN 71/3 (safe for toys;
do not release harmful substances, resistant to saliva and sweat), free of formaldehyde!

Each frame is made entirely in Italy and to be precise in Florence. ⚜️
We all know that quality has its cost but we are easy to forget that when we buy a mass-produced product.
▪️
Have we thought about who made it?
▪️
Who worked in that piece we wear?
▪️
How many hours did you work on it?
▪️
Will he have been paid fairly?
▪️
Did he work safely?
▪️
And if it says made in Italy on the auction will it really be made in Italy?

Or maybe it is just the last step of production that took place in our country?
Maybe just the packaging?
Let’s be honest.
💰
How much should an entirely handmade product cost?
Definitely more than what a handmade item costs, comparing it to mass production.
